regearing the dana 44
first thing’s first, we had to remove the old carrier from the dana 44.
next off was to pull the carrier bearings off. we first tried using the bearing collars, but realized we don’t have the right sized ones. so we had to cut them off.

the next step was to gather up all the old shims, measure them with the dial calipers, and mark them–along with all the new shims.
